Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Margins Health Inc. (“Margins Health,” “we,” or “us”) helps Medi-Cal members in Los Angeles County get the care and support they need. Protecting your privacy is part of that work. This policy explains what information we collect through marginshealth.com, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
We only collect information you choose to give us through our forms. Depending on the form, that may include:
- Call-back form: your name, phone number, preferred language, best time to call, and whether we may leave a voicemail
- Referral form: the referring person’s name, organization, and work contact information, and the referred member’s name and phone number
- Partner form: business contact information, such as your name, title, organization, and work email
We don’t ask for medical details, diagnoses, or Medi-Cal ID numbers through this website. Your Health Navigator will talk with you about your situation privately, by phone.
2. Information Collected Automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps basic technical records when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages you view. These records help keep the site secure and working properly.
We do not use advertising trackers, tracking pixels, or analytics tools that follow you across other websites, and we do not sell your information. Because we don’t track visitors across websites, our site does not respond differently to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To call you back and connect you with a Health Navigator
- To follow up on referrals from health plans and providers
- To respond to partnership and general inquiries
- To provide health navigation services, if you choose to receive them
- To keep our website secure and meet our legal obligations
We don’t use your information for advertising, and we never sell it.
4. Phone Calls And Text Messages
When you give us your phone number, we use it only to contact you about our services. We will never share your phone number, or your consent to receive calls or texts, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. You can ask us to stop calling or texting you at any time. If we text you, you can reply STOP to opt out.
5. When We Share Information
We don’t share your personal information with anyone for their own use, except in these situations:
- With your permission, or at your request
- To coordinate your care, for example with your health plan or health care providers, as allowed by law
- With service providers who help us run our programs and website, and who have agreed in writing to protect your information and use it only on our behalf
- When the law requires it, such as in response to a court order, subpoena, or valid government request
- To protect safety, in an emergency or to prevent harm to you or others
- With someone legally authorized to act for you, such as a parent, guardian, or authorized representative
6. How We Store And Keep Information
Information we collect is stored in the United States, on secure systems run by us or by service providers who have agreed to protect it. Access is limited to staff who need it to do their jobs.
We keep information only as long as we need it. Call-back and partner requests are kept while we respond and for our business records. If you become a member of our program, we keep your records for as long as federal and state law require.
7. Your Rights And Choices
You can ask us to:
- Tell you what information we have about you and how we’ve used it
- Give you a copy of your information
- Correct information that’s wrong
- Delete your information, unless the law requires us to keep it
- Stop contacting you
To make a request, contact us using the information below. We may need to confirm your identity first. There’s no cost, and we’ll respond within a reasonable time. If we can’t fulfill a request, we’ll explain why. Members receiving our services have additional rights, described in our Notice of Privacy Practices.
8. Children
We serve Medi-Cal members of all ages. A parent, guardian, or authorized representative may request a call or be referred on behalf of a child. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children under 13 through this website. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we’ll delete it.
9. Email And Text Security
Regular email and text messages are not secure. Please don’t send medical details to us by email or text. Call us at (310) 896-5936 instead.
10. Changes To This Policy
We may update this policy as our services or the law change. When we do, we’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top of this page.
